Who We Are.

Who is QuartzConnect?

QuartzConnect was established in the Fall of 2023 but has been in the making for much longer.  Our Founder, Sheri Ladas Voss has been a career saleswoman for three decades. The sales bug bit after excelling in a Sales Course at Bradley University and watching her Dad sell advertising for the local radio station while making his career as a Sportscaster in Joliet, Illinois.  She spent 25 years in the Telecommunications Industry and found a passion around connecting with people.  She likes to say she is a "Connector" by trade whether cultivating personal connections or professional ones.

She has helped numerous solopreneurs and entrepreneurs kick-start and grow their businesses and she has been intimately involved with non-profit fundraising and advisory councils and boards throughout the last 30 years helping organizations near and dear to her heart.  For the last 6 years, she found a niche working with CyberSecurity Training and Certifications professionally while becoming a College Advisor for her International Sorority. This last chapter helped remind Sheri of her love of developing the next generation and providing a strong peer consulting mentality.

Sheri has a creative spirit and an innate ability to make instant connections that grow into loyal client relationships.  She is driven by loyalty and integrity and is passionate about turning hard work into successful partnerships. 

Sheri lives in Plainfield with her husband of 28 years, Jonathan, and their three children- Drew, Abigail, and Aidan as well as their 8-year-old rescue dachshund, Rocky.

From Sheri:

  • Our company name is near and dear to my heart. Siesta Key in Sarasota, Florida is my happy place and that beautiful, fluffy, and always cool, white sand is made of magical white quartz. I have always loved to connect with people - hence QuartzConnect! 

  • Memories of every single stage of my life live in the grains of that sand. 

  • I feel grounded there and I get inspiration and energy when I wake to see the sunrise, but I get motivated and sometimes a little emotional when I watch the sunsets.

  • The sunsets can represent closing of chapters but they also give me time to feel extreme gratefulness and remind me of the beauty of each day and how we can redefine that beauty and have something look new and different every single day.

  • I have looked out on that horizon and contemplated every stage of my life. My parents vacationed there when I was a toddler and my Dad was covering the White Sox for that local radio station, which is what brought them there in the first place.

  • In grade school and as a high schooler, more and more of my friends and family would join us up and down that amazing stretch of white sand beach.

  • College spring breaks with sorority sisters, young adulthood getaways, getting engaged and planning my wedding!

  • From preparing for motherhood, pushing strollers and navigating toddlers, to pushing my dad in his wheelchair for his last trip before his passing.

  • Mom and daughter time with my now 82-year-young mom and reminiscing about how it has changed, but also how it has kept its charm and stayed the same.

  • And watching my now full circle, college-aged and young adult children returning to their happy place and sharing it with their friends.

  • Siesta Key has been an absolute blessing in my life.

  • No better place to name my new company after but the place where the dream for my own business grew legs watching the sunset and motivated me to "just do it"! "It" may change as we build and grow but starting is the big step so here we go!

    Profile and Plan: When you are ready to "Plan the Work" so you can "Work the Plan", we will create new or improve your current sales processes that can include research and recommendations for tools and resources. We also can train you and your team on how to profile account relationships and provide account review strategies that can be implemented immediately.

  • In addition to everything we do, we also love to make connections for our clients with our Network. If you need a contact for something specific, ask! If you want help growing your Network Connections, ask us how we can help!

    • We can help provide recommendations for many different extended team members and specialities.

    • We can provide you with actual Sales activities as a member of your staff or ask us to become a Marketing Affiliate.

    • If you are an individual contributor in sales or sales support and you want help for your own book of business or need support for your Account Reviews, please reach out and set up a consultation call.

    • Pricing is provided after a fact finding set of calls to qualify what is needed and is priced based on value and deliverables as a package. We can offer Contract Agreements on our paper or yours. We also can become a member of your team as a Fractional Sales Professional or something similar if that is something you are interested in.
